Farmers Market

Downtown Farmer's Market Now Open!

Enjoy home-grown, farm-farm fresh produce, meats and baked goods! This market is the oldest producer-only, open air farmers' market operating in Carroll County. The Market is open on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm and Saturday mornings from 8am to noon, from May to November and is located on the Conaway Parking Lot at the corner of Railroad Avenue (MD27) and Emerald Hill Lane. Both markets are held rain or shine. The market is handicap accessible, with ample free parking. Songs at 6:30 Summer Concert Series

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Westminster Branch Library
Live music in Downtown Westminster on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm on the Westminster Library Stage during June and July. Remaining scheduled bands include (in order of appearance): the Weber Brothers, The Tom Garmin Project, Ray Owen, Ron Zuskin & Friends and The Flying Faders. Rental Licensing

NEW Rental Housing License Program

On January 28, 2013, the Mayor and Common Council of Westminster approved Ordinance No. 839 that created a Rental Housing License Program in the City of Westminster. The final approved Ordinance was the result of the efforts of the City's Rental Licensing Task Force that began work on this issue in 2012. The Rental Housing License Program becomes effective June 1, 2013. The annual license fee is $20 per unit and every rental unit must be licensed with the City before it can be rented or leased.
