Assisted-Living Facilities
The Westminster area is fortunate to have four distinct assisted-living communities. Some of the communities, like Carroll Lutheran Village and Westminster Ridge, are continuing care communities where senior citizens can transition from independent living units through assisted living units to long-term nursing care. The others, Summerville at Westminster and Golden Crest, focus more on the assisted-living experience.
