Each June, in partnership with the Pipe Creek Civil War Round Table, the Battle of Westminster, aka "Corbit's Charge" is commemorated with an encampment. Held at Westminster City Hall and Emerald Hill, this annual event creates an educational experience for visitors of all ages, with military demonstrations, Civil War arms and equipment, military drilling, children's activities and games, and presentations from historians. Guided tours of Westminster detailing historic landmarks and battle sites are featured at the event as well. For more information visit: pipecreekroundtable.org
